Privacy Policy — Math Magician

Math Magician ("the app", Android package com.imran.mental_math_app) is a mental-math training app published by Imran. This policy is short and plain on purpose. If anything here is unclear, write to us (see Contact).

The short version

• There is no account and no sign-up. We never ask for your name or email.
• Your practice, progress, streaks and settings stay on your phone.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking. We never sell or share your data.
• The app goes online for one thing only: checking whether you have bought Math Magician Pro (see "Purchases").

What stays on your phone

Your practice history, progress, streaks, goals and settings are stored only on your device. We cannot see them. Uninstalling the app deletes them from your phone.

If you have Android backup turned on, Android may copy this app data to your own Google account so it comes back on a new phone. That copy belongs to you and Google; we cannot see it. You control it in your phone's backup settings.

Purchases

Payments for Pro are handled by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details.

To know whether you have Pro, the app uses a service called RevenueCat. When the app opens, and when you buy or restore Pro, it sends RevenueCat:

• a random ID that the app makes up (it is not your name, email or phone number);
• your purchase records for this app from Google Play;
• basic technical details, such as the app version, device model, Android version and your internet (IP) address, which every internet connection includes.

RevenueCat uses this only to confirm your purchase. See the RevenueCat privacy policy and the Google privacy policy.

What we do not do

• No advertising, and no advertising IDs.
• No analytics or tracking tools.
• No location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.
• We never sell, rent or trade any information.

Permissions

• Notifications: for the optional daily reminder you turn on yourself.
• Run at startup: to bring your reminder back after the phone restarts.
• Vibrate: for small taps of feedback while you practise.
• Internet and Google Play billing: only for the purchase check above.

Children

The app is for learners of all ages. It asks no child for any personal information: there is no account, no email and no chat. Purchases go through the Google Play account on the device.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add an online feature, we will update this page before that version of the app comes out. The date at the top shows the latest version.
